July 2013

Found 3 blog entries for July 2013.

With the first 6 months of 2013 behind us, we wanted to provide East Bay Eichler homeowners with a mid-year summary of the market for Eichler homes.

A total of 11 Eichler homes have been sold in the East Bay between January 1 and June 30, 2013. Sales have remained steady so far this year, however, there has been an uptick in activity now that the summer-housing season is in full swing.

Taking a closer look at Eichler sales for
the first half of the year, the majority (6)
of sales occurred in Walnut Creek where Eichlers took an average of 9 days to sell at an average sales price of $741,167 (roughly 107% of the original list price). The highest price paid in Walnut Creek for an Eichler home was $870,000.

I just represented the buyers and sold this updated Eichler home located at 170 Los Altos Avenue in the Rancho San Miguel neighborhood of Walnut Creek for $729,000.

This 3 bedroom/2 bath courtyard-model Eichler features a large bonus multi-purpose room, updated baths, a stylishly remodeled kitchen, and freshly landscaped courtyards.  This was a great find for my buyer clients who had been searching for a few months for the perfect mid-century home to start a new family.

For more info on Eichler homes, or to inquire about your home's potential price in this competetive market, let my experience with Eichlers work for you.
