Ok, if you want to see me, come visit my new office at Propaganda in Emeryville, 4000 Adeline at 40th.  My neighborhood is exploding right now…not only are there more cool loft listings (Green City Lofts, Emeryville Warehouse Lofts at 1500 Park, Bessler building at  4053 Harlan St. Emeryville and Pacific Cannery Lofts in  West Oakland (just a few blocks west) than ever before, but there are some new modern rental buildings as well, driving a great new group of people and an excellent smart vibe to our city.  While visiting the bar today, I met a woman who works as a bartender for AmTrak (depot just a few blocks away on Horton in Emeryville) and was writing a book about it, a guy from Honolulu who ordered the special 3 tacos

  Image result for leap year

Though I won't be able to access the February detailed data yet, the number of homes in inventory in January this year was about 20% lower than that of last year.

The median sold price was slightly higher this year than that of last year. Does this mean that the market is slowing down? Maybe . . . . We cannot tell yet. The spring selling season has just started, and we will soon know how the market shapes up this year. In any case, we hope to see many more listings, since there are many buyers waiting for them!   If you are looking to buy or sell…

Roland Li recently wrote a great article for the San Francisco Business Times titled “It's now better to invest in homes in Oakland than in San Francisco.”

In the last week, one of the most significant pieces of development news in the last decade in Downtown/Uptown Oakland appears to be coming to fruition -- a new 27-story tower at the corner of 19th Street and Telegraph Avenue.

The new project, currently referred to as 1911 Telegraph, which could break ground as early as next year, is slated to feature 330 apartments (both market-rate and affordable), a 7-floor boutique hotel, as well as a great deal of retail space (Around 56,000 SF) on a very high-visibility corner. The location is across the street from The Fox Theater and just a block from the 19th Street BART. The site currently contains a city-owned parking lot which has been eyed for development for many
