He describes the affordability of single-family rental properties and higher return from Oakland properties. Matt and I meet new buyers and investors each week who are looking to exit the SF market. Oakland is attractive for many reasons, affordability being critical.
In January I blogged about Zillow’s forecast for the hottest zipcodes and appreciation for 2016. Zillow projects the hottest zip codes are almost entirely in Oakland and particularly East Oakland, where Matt and I live in a beautiful loft.
