NOBE, Oakland Real Estate & Homes

Named for being a combination of the North Oakland, Berkeley, and Emeryville neighborhoods, NOBE has become a highly sought after part of the city that’s full of cultural diversity, stunning homes, and a high level of walkability. Although NOBE isn’t necessarily a name that’s been adopted by existing home owners and residents, the acronym does accurately represent its location geographically, which continues to help potential home buyers and renters considering a move to Oakland who aren’t quite as familiar with the area. San Pablo Avenue acts as the primary thoroughfare through NOBE, which is where you’ll find a great collection of eclectic shops, markets, cafes, and restaurants that all combine to enhance the neighborhood’s appeal. Easy access to transit also makes NOBE a convenient place to live, and both the Ashby BART station and a number of bus stops help make getting to and from Berkeley, Downtown Oakland, and even over to San Francisco a breeze on most days.
